Yesterday i headed to PFI Karting to take part in round 2 of the north Club100 championship Thanks to @johnpatterson for the brilliant pictures again I qualified p8 in the B final Pre B final Finished p5 which meant i was starting the final in 3rd 1st lap kart felt great i had great pace to get a podium but in true club100 racing i got taken out went from 3rd to p24 i now to chase everyone down i managed to finish p10 Not how i wanted the day to end but onto the next race. Midland Karting first endurance of the year. The format was 20 minutes practice /qualifying and 60 minutes race in teams of two. My Team mate was William Elson Qualifying wasn't great our kart was pulling to the left so we swapped to kart 6 Qualifying 6th I was starting first so new had to try and make some places up we were soon into p2 now to try and chase down p1 we were making great progress we hit the half way mark and had to make a driver swap now its Wills turn he was making great progress we were holding P2 his defending was insane then on Lap 60 Will got hit from behind by team 7 which pushed him off the racing line Will held it but then got hit at full speed by team 9 which unfortunately put him into the tyres, now it was a recovery drive to try and make some places back Will got his head down and made a great recovery to finish p5. This weekend we headed to Shenington kart club in Banbury for round Round 2 of Club100 south championship. This was my first time at this track, unfortunately this weekend wasn't my best weekend i was unlucky with my karts and struggled with straight line speed.
