What a great weekend racing with Theo Williams at Shennington Kart Club this was our first race weekend in owner karting we had to run in junior x30 due to our age this year aim is to try and get off novice plates before next years season when I can move up to seniors. Junior x30 weight limit 148kg Senior x30 weight limit 162kg I'm 164kg with kart January I can move into seniors. Practice Dns due to fuel issues Heat 1 finished P27 out of 31 with 44.71 Heat 2 finished P19 with 44.38 Final P27 with 44.49 First novice race done ✔️ First signature ✔️ No penalties ✔️ Finished the race with no damage on my kart ✔️ Looking forward to my next race at whilton mill in November. Today was round 7 of Midland Karting championship series Practice P1 with a 49.964 Qualifying P1 with a 49.187 Heat 1 P1 with a 48.983 Heat 2 reverse grid starting at the back finished P1 with a 48.653 Final P1 with a 48.867 fastest lap and a 9.068 lead on P2 Gaining another 26 points giving me 181 points in total, 96 points clear on P2 With only 3 rounds left and a maximum of 78 points up for grabs, Think it's safe to say that I've won my first senior championship. Now to focus on my first race in my own kart at shennington on the 19th and 20th September.
